Elon Musk Lashes Out at Advertisers Leaving X
⚡️ Musk's Fiery Response to Advertiser Exodus
💥 "Go Fk Yourself," Musk Says to Advertisers**
🚀 X CEO Defiant Amidst Advertising Boycott
In a fiery exchange at the 2023 DealBook Summit in New York, Elon Musk unleashed a barrage of profanity at advertisers who have pulled their campaigns from X (formerly known as Twitter) over concerns about antisemitism and hate speech on the platform.
"If somebody's gonna try to blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f**k yourself," Musk declared, his voice dripping with disdain. "Don't advertise."
This outburst came in response to a recent exodus of advertisers, including major players like Apple and Disney, who have paused their spending on X in the wake of Musk's endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory earlier this month.
Musk, however, remained unfazed by the loss of revenue, brushing off the boycott as an attempt to silence him. "What this advertising boycott is going to do is to kill [X]," he asserted. "The whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company and we will document it in great detail."
Despite the escalating tensions, Musk maintained that his controversial tweet was not intended to offend anyone. "I have no problem being hated," he stated, reiterating that his trip to Israel was not an apology tour.
"I'm not going to tap dance to prove I'm a good person," Musk added defiantly.
As X continues to grapple with a growing user base and dwindling advertiser support, Musk's defiant stance remains a central point of contention. Only time will tell whether he can weather this storm and steer X towards a brighter future.
